Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro said he was ready to step down if the country’s opposition forces win the December 6 parliamentary elections.
"If the opposition wins, I will step down from the post of the president," Maduro said in a televised speech on Tuesday, Tass reported.
He added that his fate was up to the Venezuelan people to decide.
